These beans have a distinctive Southwest flair that goes great with grilled beef or poultry.

Bunkhouse Beans


  • 1 can (16-oz.) great Northern beans
  • 1 can (15-oz.) kidney beans
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 can (4-oz.) ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles, drained
  • 1/4 cup real bacon bits
  • 2 tsps. chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin


COMBINE Northern beans, kidney beans, barbecue sauce, chiles, bacon bits, chili powder and cumin in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to a low.

Cook for 10 minutes or until heated through.
