Carne Asada


    1/2    cup tequila
    1/4    cup lime juice
    1/4    cup lemon juice
    1/4    cup orange juice
    1    medium onion, chopped
    2    teaspoons ORTEGA Hot Taco Sauce
    1    teaspoon black pepper
    2    pounds skirt steak
    1    package (12 count) ORTEGA Soft Flour Tortillas
    1    cup ORTEGA Salsa, any variety
    1    cup ORTEGA Guacamole Dip


Mix tequila, juices, onion, garlic, taco sauce and pepper in large bowl. Add steak, and turn to coat both sides. Cover and refrigerate 6 to 8 hours, turning steak over occasionally to marinate evenly.

Preheat grill. Sprinkle a few drops of water on each tortilla, stack and wrap in aluminum foil. Place on grill to warm.

Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Place on grill. Brush steak with remaining marinade. Cook 12 to 15 minutes for medium-rare; turn steak and tortillas once during cooking. Remove tortillas from grill.

Transfer steak to cutting board. Cut into thin slices. Serve with tortillas, salsa and guacamole.
