Chalupa Dip


  • 3 avocados
  • 2 tsps. lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ozs. sour cream, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix - Regular
  • 2 cups pinto beans
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 8 ozs. cheddar cheese, grated


In a bowl, mash until smooth peeled avocados with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

In a separate bowl, combine softened sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning mix.

In a 8x8-inch serving dish or baking pan, layer the mashed canned pinto beans, avocado mixture, sour cream mixture, chopped green onions, chopped tomatoes, and grated cheddar cheese.
