Cheese-Filled Won Ton Bites
Ingredients
- 3/4 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tbls. ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
- 24 won ton skins
- 2 cups vegetable oil
Directions
Combine cheese and chiles in a small bowl. Place about 1-1/2 teaspoons of cheese mixture in the center of each won ton. Brush edges with water and fold in half to make a triangle.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the temperature reaches 375°F (won tons should sizzle immediately on contact with oil). Cook until brown on both sides. Transfer to paper towels to drain. Serve warm.
