Here's a coleslaw that serves as a main dish. Serve with warm crusty bread and your favorite Nestlé ice cream novelties for dessert.

Chicken Coleslaw


  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 cups diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 cup diced, cored apple
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved
  • 1 can (7-oz.) ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbls. honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3/4 cups chopped pecans, toasted


COMBINE cabbage, chicken, apple, grapes and chiles in large bowl. Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, honey and lime juice. Pour over cabbage mixture; stir well to combine. Season to taste with salt and ground black pepper. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour; top with pecans before serving.
