Chicken Tamale Pie


  • 1 1/2 cup cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen whole kernel corn, thawed, drained
  • 1 package ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix - Regular
  • 4 fl. ozs. green chili peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 3 eggs


In a bowl combine chicken, frozen whole kernel corn, and taco seasoning mix. Toss to evenly coat. Spread in a 9" pie plate. Sprinkle with green chili peppers and cheddar cheese. In a bowl combine milk, biscuit baking mix, and eggs. Pour into the pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until the center is set. Cool 5 minutes before cutting.
