very easy to make and delicious. Ortega green chilies , eggs and cheese casserole

1cup half & half
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
3 (4oz.) cans whole ortega green chilies
1/2 lb.shredded monterey jack cheese
1/2 lb. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1(8oz.) can tomato sauce


Beat half & half with eggs and flour until smooth. (Split open chilies and remove seeds).
mix both cheeses reserving 1/2 cup for topping.

Make alternate layers of remaining cheese, chiles and egg mixture in a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish.
Pour tomato sauce over mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake at 350 for 1 1/4 hours.
