Chocolate Chip Streusel


  • 1 tablespoon CREAM OF WHEAT Cereal, uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon margarine, cold
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips, minature, semi-sweet


MIX cereal, flour, sugar and cinnamon in small bowl.

CUT in margarine with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

STIR in the chocolate chips.

Makes 3 servings, about 2 Tbsp. each.

Shelf Life of Herbs and Spices:

Mark the purchase date on the bottoms of all jars of herbs and spices. For optimum flavor, they should be used within 6 months of purchase. Try to purchase only the amount you expect to use within that time.


Sprinkle over your favorite prepared cake batter before baking.
