Easy Taco Pizza


  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 package (6.5-oz.) pizza crust mix or prepared 12-in. pizza crust
  • 1 cup ORTEGA Salsa - Homestyle Recipe (Mild)
  • 1 cup reduced-fat shredded colby Jack cheese
  • 2/3 cups coarsely crushed low-fat tortilla chips
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tbls. sliced ripe olives, optional


Preheat oven to 400°F.

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add ground pork and taco seasoning. Cook and stir for approximately 10 minutes or until crumbly and no longer pink.

Prepare pizza crust according to package directions. Spread crust evenly on greased 12-inch pizza pan and top evenly with salsa. Sprinkle on taco seasoned pork, cheese and tortilla chips. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven, top with shredded lettuce and olives and serve.
