Food Services - Wright's Easy Smoked Turkey



In very large bowl or heavy plastic bag, combine turkey, water and hickory seasoning, turning to coat turkey. Cover or seal bag; chill overnight, turning occasionally.

Drain turkey; pat dry. Place turkey on rack in large roasting pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 3 ½ to 4 hours or until internal thigh temperature reaches 180 degrees to 185 degrees, basting with melted margarine if desired. Use pan drippings to make gravy if desired. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
