Jalapeños and nectarines blend beautifully with avocado, green onion, garlic and cilantro to create a tangy and luscious guacamole just right for serving with succulent chicken breast just off the grill. Serve with baked potatoes and iced tea.

Grilled Chicken with Nectarine Guacamole


  • 2 nectarines or peaches, pitted and coarsely chopped
  • 1 medium avocado, pitted, peeled and chopped
  • 2 large green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbls. fresh lime or orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon to 2 ORTEGA Diced Jalapeños
  • 1 clove large garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves


COMBINE nectarines, avocado, green onions, cilantro, lime juice, jalapeños, garlic and salt in medium bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

GRILL or broil chicken until no longer pink in center. Top with nectarine guacamole.
