Guacamole Sliders


1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup ORTEGA Garden Vegetable Medium Salsa, separated
1 ripe avocado
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
1 package of 1 dozen dinner rolls


Combine the ground beef, 1 tablespoon water and ½ cup salsa in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Form the meat into 12 small round balls. Set aside.
To make the guacamole, peel avocado, remove seed and place avocado halves in a small bowl along with salt, lime juice, chilies and cilantro. Smash avocado with a fork and mix with the other ingredients. Set aside.
Grill or pan fry the burgers for about 3 minutes. Flip over and flatten with a spatula. Cook for another 4 minutes or until cooked to desired doneness.
Assemble the slider by cutting each dinner roll in half and fill with tablespoon salsa, a burger and heaping scoop of guacamole. Serve immediately.
