Kicked Up Turkey Meatballs With Emeril's Italian Essence


  • 1 pound ground lean turkey
  • 2 tbls. EMERILS Italian Essence
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, finely grated
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except olive oil. Mix well and form into 16 equal size meatballs. In a skillet, heat oil until hot but not smoking and brown meatballs, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake until meatballs are cooked through, about 8 minutes. (Alternatively: Finish simmering meatballs in your favorite pasta sauce.)
