Yields: 4-6 Servings

Meatballs and Beans


  • 2/3 cups bread crumbs, soft
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 whole small onion, diced
  • 1 can B&M Original Baked Beans, undrained
  • 2-3 tbls. ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, ground


Combine bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Add beef; mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. In a skillet, cook meatballs and onion until meatballs are browned; drain. Add beans, ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink.
