Yields: 8 Servings




Preheat over to 375 degrees and spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Brown ground beef in a 10 inch fry pan, over medium heat, breaking up with a fork, until absent of pink color; remove from heat; drain off any excess grease stir in ORTEGA ENCHILADA SAUCE to blend.

Open can biscuits and flatten each to a 5-½ inch circle of dough on a clean, flat surface. Divide beef into 8 equal parts; divide cheese into 8 equal parts.

Onto center of each circle of dough, spoon 1 portion of beef mixture and top with 1 portion the cheese. Bring up all sides of dough and pinch to seal; twist once to ascertain sealing and place, sealed-sides-down prepared cookies sheet. Brush tops of pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds evenly, if desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 16 minutes. Remove from oven to rack or serving platter. Garnish with fresh fruit or vegetables, if desired. Makes 8. Serves 4
