A new slant on an old favorite, this Waldorf-style salad is sure to be a taste-bud tantilizer.

Ortega Apple and Green Chile Salad


  • 2 medium red and green apples, cored and chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 1 can (4-oz.) ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
  • 1/3 cup prepared ranch-style salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise


COMBINE apples, celery, nuts, chiles, salad dressing and mayonnaise in medium bowl. Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve over lettuce leaves.
