More zip as you dip; the green chiles make this guacamole a real crowd pleaser.

Ortega Green Chile Guacamole


  • 2 medium very ripe avocados, seeded, peeled and mashed
  • 1 can (4-oz.) ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
  • 2 large green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbls. olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


COMBINE avocados, chiles, green onions, olive oil, lime juice, garlic and salt in a medium bowl. Cover; refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips.

Makes about 2 cups.
