Moist smoked chicken combined with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheesed make a winning combination. Add ORTEGA Refried Beans for a traditional side dish.

Ortega Smoked Chicken Quesadilla


  • 2 cups smoked chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup ORTEGA Salsa - Roasted Garlic (Medium)
  • 4 (8-inch) soft taco-size flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese


COMBINE salsa and chicken; mix well.

PLACE chicken mixture on half of each tortilla.

COMBINE Cheddar Cheese and Monterey Jack cheese in small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over chicken mixture. Fold tortillas in half.

HEAT in medium skillet, turning occasionally, until cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream and guacamole.
