Peanut Butter-Molasses Cookies


  • 8 tbls. (1 stick) butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter, chunky
  • 3/4 cups Grandmas Original Molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup (optional) chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 cup (optional) chocolate chips


Heat oven to 350°F. Cream butter, peanut butter and molasses until light. Beat in egg.

In separate bowl, mix flour with remaining ingredients. Gradually combine this into

butter mixture. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Flatten tops with fork

tines. Bake 8 minutes. Remove and cool.
