Pineapple 'n Ginger Spiced Barbecued Flank Steak


  • 1-2 pound flank steak
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 large garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 teaspoon ACCENT Flavor Enhancer
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, freshly grated
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt


Place flank steak in a shallow baking dish. In a small mixing bowl combine pineapple juice, garlic, ginger, salt, lemon juice, and Ac'cent Flavor Enhancer. Pour mixture over flank steak; turn to coat both sides. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate a minimum of 3 hours and up to 24 hours in refrigerator.

Remove steak from marinade and grill over high direct heat for 4 minutes per side for medium rare, or until desired level of doneness. Remove from heat. Let meat rest for 5 minutes. Thinly slice across grain. Serve warm.
