With this easy homemade alternative to jarred salsa, all you need is a bag of tortilla chips for an easy appetizer.

Quick Salsa


  • 1 14-1/2 oz. can whole tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbls. vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder


In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Stir together and refrigerate for 4 hours.

NOTE: For a spicier sauce, add liquid hot pepper sauce, a dash at a time, until it's hot enough.
