Salsa Chili

1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 jars (16 ounces each) ORTEGA Salsa, any variety
1 can (15 ounces) ORTEGA Black Beans, undrained
1 cup water
1 can (4 ounces) ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
1 package (1.25 ounce) ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix

Cook beef and onion in large saucepan until beef is browned; drain. Stir in salsa, beans, water, chiles and seasoning mix.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes. Garnish with green onion, cheese and other desired garnishes.

Garnish suggestions: sliced green onions, shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced ripe olives, sour cream, chopped onion

Tip: this salsa-seasoned chili makes enough for a family meal and tastes equally amazing reheated the next day.
