Sausage-Apple Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1/3 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup celery, chopped
  • 6 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 3/4 tsps. ACCENT Flavor Enhancer
  • 3/4 tsps. salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tbls. margarine or butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cup apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 savory roast chicken

Directions

1. In small skillet, brown sausage with onion and celery. Do not drain.
