Savory Roast Chicken with Sausage Apple Stuffing and Gravy


  • 1 whole broiler-fryer chicken
  • 1-2 teaspoon ACCENT Flavor Enhancer
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sage, fresh (or 1 tsp. dried)
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, fresh (or 1 tsp. dried)


1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove giblets and neck from chicken, rinse chicken inside and out and pat dry. Place breast side up, in shallow roasting pan.
