Shrimp Creole



In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, cook pepper, onion, celery and garlic 15 minutes, stirring frequently, or until vegetables are very tender. Stir in diced tomatoes, red chile sauce and flavor enhancer; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stir in cleaned shrimp; simmer 5 minutes or until shrimp are tender, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked rice.

Makes 4 servings.
