These warm smoked turkey and corn fritters are sure to hit the spot and disappear right before your eyes. Serve as an appetizer at your next party or make a delicious meal filled with all the comfort of the American Southwest.

Smoked Turkey and Corn Fritters


  • 1 can (15.25-oz.) corn, drained
  • 1 cup smoked turkey, finely chopped
  • 1 large egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 can (4-oz.) ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tbls. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 jar (1 lb.) ORTEGA Salsa - Homestyle Recipe (Mild)


COMBINE corn, turkey, egg, chiles, milk, butter and hot pepper sauce in medium bowl. Combine flour and baking powder in small bowl; add to corn mixture. Stir just until combined.
