Southwest Sloppy Joes


  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 can (10.75-oz.) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can (4-oz.) ORTEGA Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 6 hamburger buns


HEAT oil in large skillet. Add onion and celery; cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until tender. Add beef, soup, chiles, chili powder and cumin. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until hot. Serve on buns.
