Spicey Ricey Bacon Salad


  • 1 1/2 cup rice
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 10 ozs. frozen peas
  • 5 green onions, sliced
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 3 tbls. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbls. ORTEGA Salsa - Thick & Chunky (Medium)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


Cook rice as directed on package.
Cook strips of bacon until crisp; drain.
Combine the cooked rice, the crumbled bacon, frozen peas, thinly sliced green onions, chopped celery ribs, mayonnaise, salsa, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Chill.
