Strawberry Shortcake



1. In a large mixing bowl mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in the margarine

until coarse;gradually add buttermilk. Stir.

2. Knead to a soft dough. Roll out ½ inch thickness. Using a biscuit cutter cut into

4. Cut each biscuit in ½. Mix the preserves and strawberries together. Spoon on top

of biscuits. Top with whipped topping. Serves 12
