Very fresh, lower in fat and calories yet high in flavor!

Super Healthy Taco Salad


2 lbs. lean hamburg or lean ground turkey
2 pkg. taco seasoning
1 1/2 c. water
1 8oz. pkg fat free or low fat cream cheese
1 pint fat free or low fat sour cream
2 cans diced chilis
1 1/2 cup finely diced onion
4 large tomatoes finely diced
1 small head lettuce finely shredded.
2 8oz. pkg. low fat shredded mexican or cheddar cheese


Brown hamburg or turkey in skillet. Drain or rinse off
grease and return to skillet.
Add two pkg. taco seasoning and 1 1/2 cups water to hamburg. Cook over med heat
until mixture thickens. Set
aside mixture.
In 13x9 casserole dish, spread out cream cheese to cover bottom. Add sour cream and smooth out. Add meat mixture. Add chilis, onion, tomatoe then lettuce.
Top with two pkg shredded cheese. Bake 350 degrees for
20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with Ortega Taco shells, wraps or chips or
it's own as a main dish with
low fat cornbread on the side.
