Sweet Pepper Poppers
2 pints jalapeno peppers
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
2 scallions (green onions), finely chopped
1 cup ORTEGA Salsa Con Queso
1/2 cup ORTEGA Thick & Chunky Medium Salsa
2 tablespoons ORTEGA Thick & Smooth Medium Taco Sauce
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray; set aside.
Cut each pepper lengthwise through stem. Using a spoon, scrape out seeds and veins. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, stir together cream cheese, scallions, and salsa con queso. Fill hollowed-out peppers with cheese mixture.
Place peppers on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. In a small bowl, combine salsa with taco sauce.
Top each pepper with a spoonful of the salsa mixture.
