If you like tacos, you will love this soup. Simmered to a savory flavor.

Taco Bean Soup


  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 3 cans (16-oz) pinto beans, undrained
  • 1 can (15-oz) canned corn, undrained
  • 1 can (15-oz) chopped tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (15-oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 4 1/2 ozs. green chile peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1 package ORTEGA Taco Seasoning Mix - Regular
  • 1 package (3/5-oz) Italian dry salad dressing mix


Cook ground beef and onion in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat until browned; drain.

Stir in pinto beans, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, green chile peppers, taco seasoning mix, and dry salad dressing mix. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
