Like the title says, this is a great salad to take along to potlucks and picnics. If you want crisp taco shells, don't mix them in until right before serving.

Take Along Taco Salad



Optional: chopped tomatoes, sliced ripe olives

BROWN beef; drain. Add water and seasoning mix. Prepare according to seasoning mix directions; cool.

COMBINE sour cream and taco sauce in small bowl. Toss taco shells, lettuce, onion, cheese, tomatoes and olives in large, resealable plastic bag. Add beef mixture and sour cream mixture; toss well. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Top with additional taco sauce, if desired.
