Taste of Thai Baked Beans


  • 4 cans 16 oz. each B&M Original Baked Beans
  • 1 can 16 oz. pink beans
  • 1 whole medium size onion, chopped into chunky sections
  • 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tbls. soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter, smooth
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup crushed peanuts


Combine beans and onion in crock-pot. Blend in the remaining nine ingredients in large bowl of mixer or blender. Pour 2 cups of this sauce over bean mixture and stir gently. Bring to simmer on high, reduce setting, and heat thoroughly. Serve piping hot with a sprinkling of crushed peanuts.

**For the pink beans ingredient, any mild-flavored light bean in plain liquid can be used.

Remember: When serving a party dish containing hidden nuts, always mark it to warn peole with allergies.
