Three Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 tbls. butter or margarine
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Parsely, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 can 16 oz. JOAN OF ARC Butter Beans
  • 1 can 16 oz. JOAN OF ARC Chili Style Beans In Chili Sauce
  • 1 can 16 oz. JOAN OF ARC Light Red Kidney Beans
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 whole bay leaves, (remove before serving)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Marjoram Leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1 pinch savory
  • 1 pinch thyme
  • 12 whole vegetable cubes
  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes, chopped

Directions

Saute in butter or margarine the following: Onions, green peppers, celery, carrots, parsely, and garlic.



Add the rest of the ingredients to the vegetables and simmer for 20 minutes to blend flavors.
