Tilapia Fajitas


  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 pound sole filets
  • 2 tbls. oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup ORTEGA Salsa - Thick & Chunky (Medium)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated


In a bowl combine garlic powder, chili powder, pepper, lime juice, red pepper flakes, and Worcestershire sauce. Marinate sole filets for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Heat oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Saute sliced onion for 5 minutes. Add sliced green bell pepper and cook until just hot. Season with salt and pepper. Place the green bell peppers and onions on a serving dish; keep warm.

Remove the filets from the marinade and cook in a skillet over medium heat until the fish flakes easily. Place over the peppers and onions. Serve with flour tortillas, salsa, and grated cheddar cheese.
