WrightÂ’s Smoky Steak Kabobs


  • 1 cup vegetable juice cocktail
  • 2 lbs. steak, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 green pepper, cut into chunks
  • 12 whole mushrooms
  • 12 whole cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbls. WRIGHTS Natural Hickory Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup oil


Blend vegetable juice cocktail, onion, oil and hickory seasoning. In nonmetal dish, pour marinade over steak cubes. Cover; chill at least 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain beef, reserve marinade.

Heat reserved marinade to a boil; set aside. On 12 skewers, thread beef cubes, green peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. Grill or broil kabobs 4 inches from heat source for 10 to 15 minutes or until desired doneness, turning occasionally and brushing with marinade. Makes 6 servings
