Wright's Smokey Sloppy Joes


  • 1 whole 1 pound Beef Top Round Steak
  • 2 tsps. vegetable oil
  • 1 whole large onion, sliced
  • 1 clove clove garlic, minced
  • 1 jar 8 ounce taco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon WRIGHTS Natural Hickory Seasoning
  • 4 whole Sandwich Roll, split


In heavy pot, over medium-high heat, brown steak in oil. Add onion and garlic, stirring until lightly browned. Stir in taco sauce; heat to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer for 1 ½ hours or until steak is tender.

Remove steak from sauce; shred or cut into julienne strips. Return steak to pot; heat through. Spoon meat mixture onto roll bottoms; replace tops. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
